Teacher accounts are created by administrators using an email username, password and assigned role. Access rights depend on the role: Student, Teacher, Class Teacher, Dean of Studies, Deputy Head Teacher or Head Teacher.

All teachers can:

Assignments and learner grouping

Assign one or more learners tasks for a selected grade, stream, subject and topic. Teachers may teach more than one stream and add learners to authorised virtual-class rooms.

Quizzes and feedback

Create quizzes, assign them to learners, view quiz results and add comments or reports for each task.

Reports and timetable

Prepare termly reports per learner and stream, view subject performance and publish class timetables and lesson reminders.

Class teacher: print an overall report for each student across all subjects and mark the class register.

Roles and permissions

Accounts are created only by administrators or authorised admin staff using the user's email as username and an administrator-created password. Roles include Student, Teacher, Class Teacher, Dean of Studies, Deputy Head Teacher and Head Teacher. Only authorised admin staff can create accounts, assign roles, place learners in grades and streams, or add them to virtual-class rooms.
